Only select titles from the Kindle Store are available as audiobooks on Amazon Audible. However, Alexa can read any book in your Kindle library, including your Kindle Unlimited titles. Simply give the appropriate voice command to initiate text-to-speech narration or audible narration.

Rather than giving voice commands, you can also choose an audiobook and control the narration using the Audible mobile app. Audiobooks need to be synced so you can stop listening on one device and continue from the same place using another device.

How do I get audiobooks for Alexa?

Individual audiobooks can be purchased from the Audible website, Audible app, or Amazon.com. You can also add audible narration to ebooks you’ve already purchased from Amazon by following these steps:

Get Alexa to read you on Android and iOS

Although the Kindle app for Android does not support text-to-speech narration, you can still ask Alexa to read to you on any smartphone or tablet using the Alexa app for Android and iOS:

Open the Alexa app and tap Cheek at the bottom of the screen.

Scroll down and choose a book under your Kindle Library.

Faucet This device.

Tap Reading, select a book, then tap This Device.

Otherwise, press the Alexa icon (the blue bubble) at the bottom of the application to give a voice command.
