Easter has certainly become a holiday that kids are really excited about – bunnies, chicks, dyed eggs! Oh my! And the delicacies, in particular the small chocolate eggs.

These little carrot pouches are perfect for storing your kids’ favorite treats.

Another fun way to use these treat boxes would be to hide them on your Easter egg hunt as an extra surprise for the kids to find. Why only search for eggs when you can also grab the carrots along the way.

How to make the Easter Carrot Candy Box

  • orange and green paper
  • some additional paper colors
  • the scissors
  • glue
  • pencil
  • our printable template (grab it at the end of the tutorial)

Follow the Tutorial

Print our DIY model. You can either print it on orange paper, or print it on plain paper and trace the shape onto the orange paper. Once you have your shape on orange paper, cut it out.

There are dotted lines on the model. You need to fold along these lines. Unfold.

Apply glue along the “thin” fold.

Fold the other side of the paper and join it to the thin part.

Glue the opening to one end. You now have the opening on one side only.

Let the glue dry.

Cut a rectangle (about the same length as your candy box) and cut it as shown in the picture.

Stick it inside the carrot treat box.

Decorate! There are a few shapes on the templates that you can use to decorate your pouch.

You can decorate it yourself and however you like – or just leave it as it is without decorating.
