What to Know
Select Settings (gear icon) > More Settings > Mailboxes. Choose your primary mailbox.
In the right panel, scroll down to Forwarding, enter the address to which you want your Yahoo mail forwarded, and select Verify.
As of January 1, 2021, forwarding is available only if you have Yahoo Mail Pro or subscribe to Access + Forwarding.

How to Forward Yahoo Mail Messages to Another Email Address

To choose the email account to which you want to forward your Yahoo Mail messages, follow these steps:

Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.

Click the gear in the upper-right corner of the page, next to your name.

Select More Settings.

Select Mailboxes.

Select your primary email mailbox.

In the panel on the right, scroll down to the Forwarding field, enter the address to which you want your Yahoo mail forwarded, and select Verify.

Log in to that email account and look for a message from Yahoo. Follow the instructions to verify the account.

Only new incoming emails are forwarded.
Why You Might Want to Forward Your Yahoo Emails

This feature can be useful for several reasons—for example, a personal preference for one email provider’s interface over Yahoo’s.

Perhaps you don’t use Yahoo as your main email provider and want to check only your primary email address.

If you use your Yahoo account for shopping or other specific purposes, forwarding keeps related email messages separate but accessible through your main email service.
