Mothers Day Handprint Art Flowers

As Mother’s Day is approaching, we want to share with you this lovely handmade art flower idea for Mother’s Day. This one makes the cutest (and most precious) gift a child has ever made.

It can be made with the hands of a child or, if you make it at home, from the handprints of all the siblings or all the family members.

Mother's Day Handprint Art Flower Crafts for Kids

This handprint art bouquet is also perfect as a class project, for the kids to create their Mother’s Day cards or gifts (because this one can be a card – using a single handprint or as a wall display with several).

It is perfect to use as a gift made by a child for other holidays. We don’t think there’s anyone who wouldn’t love a child giving a gift as cute and thoughtful as this. And since it’s mostly flat, it can also be framed and used as a wall display.

Choose your favorite colors. Have the children paint their hands using a paintbrush or dip their palms in the paint.

Let them press their hands on white paper (quite hard) then, with a quick movement, remove the hand to make the imprint.

Make one, two, three, four or more handprints in one or more colors.

Let the paint dry. When dry, cut along the handprint.

Glue the handprint to a sheet of paper or canvas.

Draw flower stems with green paint (or a marker).

Decorate with a bow and write your message for Mother’s Day.
