Print our template on card stock or thicker printing paper. You can also use plain paper, but you’ll have to laminate your bunny later.

Color the rabbit. There are many colors you can use, we went for a gray bunny with pink detailing.

Easter pastel colors will suit this one perfectly. If you make this DIY a school project in the classroom, we can imagine how wonderful a “rainbow” of colors will look with all the bunnies colored in their own way.

Before cutting the rabbit, drill holes (two are marked on the rabbit’s body and two on each of the ears).

We used a skewer, younger kids can use plastic needles or have the adult do this part for them.

Cut out the rabbit’s body and ears.

Then you need to thread the wire through the outer holes of the ears.

You can make a “needle” out of card stock or use child-friendly plastic needles.

Take a brad and push it through the hole on the bunny’s body, it should go through the back of the boss.

Place the bunny ear on top of the body, pushing the brad through the inner ear hole. Spread the brad.

You can twist the ear several times and wiggle it a little to make it looser.

Repeat with the other ear on the other side.

Glue a craft stick to the back of the bunny’s body.

The craft stick will make a great handle for your bunny paper doll and also provide extra stability for your doll.

Tie the string together (it’s best to position the ears hanging down when you tie the knot).

Completed! Now pull the string up and down to make the bunny’s ears move.
