Why Cobra Kai Season 5’s Miguel Story Is A Bad Sign For Eagle Fang

If Johnny agrees to let Daniel train his students in his absence, Cobra Kai season 5 could mark the end of the Eagle Fang dojo. If he has to be away for a while, Eagle Fang students might get used to training with Daniel and maybe Chozen (Yuji Okumoto) as well. When he returns, Johnny could resume his role as sensei, but in the combined dojos. Depending on how long Mexico’s story is, that could be the direction the show goes in Season 5. Also, it wouldn’t work for the show to leave the students of Eagle Fang in limbo while Johnny searches for Miguel. .

Disbanding Eagle Fang Karate could be a way to test the limits of the new understanding that Johnny and Daniel have developed in the Cobra Kai season 4 finale. If they truly realized that each other’s styles have their distinct advantages in battle, they might be able to work together with minimal tension in the future. A united front between Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen might even become necessary, especially in light of Terry Silver’s promise to expand Cobra Kai and the disturbing tease from Mike Barnes.
